To us, this is a very funny question. This word, “cult”, has become a dark and terrible word in the world today, but it’s interesting to find that the roots of the word actually are where we get the word “Culture” from, as well as “Cultivate”, and speaks to forms of worship in a sacred manner. Many of the original Mystery Schools were sometimes called “Mystery Cults” - which were sacred spaces of spiritual gathering in which people cultivated their spiritual development, and established a divine culture in the process. 

Today however, “cult” is defined as “a religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false”, and so we can say by that definition - absolutely not. In fact, the core values we honour above all are “Truth, Love, and Authenticity”, and we do not force worship or practice of any particular kind, but hold a space for each member to evolve their consciousness at their own pace. 

We understand that in the world today, there are people who claim to be spiritual leaders, who have intentionally and unintentionally created cults that have often seen negative results.  We are very sensitive to this, mindful that it exists, and so we strive to create a truly harmonious and sacred space.
